Vonkat PAF Fork for Honda CRF230F
COMING IN FEBRUARY!
There are a lot of reasons that people love their CRF230Fs. Of the things that Honda really knows how to do, it’s making dependable, easy to maintain air-cooled 4-stroke bikes. However, pretty much all of their F series bikes suffer in the suspension department, since Honda specs very basic forks and shocks to keep the purchase price reasonable.
We’ve had a lot of people who’ve purchased our El Jefé have asked up “What do you have for the front end?”, and our answer was always “Nothing”. While you can do a few things to improve the stock damper-rod forks, it’s still both technology and appearance that are straight out of the late 70’s.
Our goals with the PAF for the CRF230F was to hit on three marks. First, to make a high-performance fork that makes riding more fun and leave you with more stamina left over at the end of the day. Second was to make the installation straightforward and easy, where your stock parts like the front fender, number plate, and ignition switch fit perfectly. Thirdly, we wanted to make it look good. Really good. Jewelry good!
Featuring:
T6-6065 billet aluminum triple clamps with independent clamping bands for precise torque
Offset handlebar risers, coupled with three different mounting positions on the top crown, give a total of six different handlebar position options.
Rebound and compression damping adjustments in both legs
43mm hard chromed steel stanchions protected by wrap around fork guards
Two 32005 tapered roller bearings included; lower crown bearing comes pre-installed
Billet brake hose guide, hose clamps, and fork guard bolts
Yes, we’re already working on the CRF250F version!
